We have created e-gadgets to support the teaching of topics across the curriculum providing teachers with engaging activities to explain, model and give practice of concepts, skills and processes. You will find that e-gadgets are invaluable resources for introducing and demonstrating the mechanisms and skills which pupils need to understand before they attempt practical investigations or projects. An e-gadget is a ready to use interactive whiteboard resource such as an interaction (i-gadget), an animation (a- gadget), a picture (p-gadget) a question (q-gadget) or a voting activity (v-gadget) to enhance your lessons. An e-gadget pack will typically include a number of e-gadget types.

The e-gadget factory offers non-voting e-gadgets in the following waysThe activities are structured into packs to support popular topics and are available in the following versions: - SMART Notebook e-gadget Topic Packs - Multimedia activities in the familiar Notebook format - each topic pack consists of a series of Notebook files and a collection of images that are ready to use on interactive whiteboards with SMART Notebook.
- Promethean Flipchart e-gadget Topic Packs - Multimedia activities integrated into Promethean flipcharts - each topic pack consists of a series of flipcharts which are ready to use on your Promethean or other board that uses ActivPrimary or ActivStudio.
- Online e-gadget library membership - Subscription to online access to all of our non-voting e-gadgets in our topic based library by means of our own browser that we call the "e-gadget workshop" on any make of interactive whiteboard when you do not have access to SMART Notebook or ActivPrimary/Studio. The e-gadget workshop allows e-gadgets to be instantly located and manipulated by the teacher to illustrate a particular teaching point. The subscription is for an annual school site licence so the library may be accessed from any whiteboard in the school and gives online access to all of the e-gadgets listed in the shop. The library currently contains over 240 i-gadgets and a-gadgets, over 100 activities in the form of q-gadgets and in excess of 1500 p-gadgets which include illustrations and photographs N.B voting or v-gadgets are not included in the online library.
