You will already know that voting systems are an excellent resource for gauging the progress of your pupils, but did you realise that you can now also use Promethean Activote handsets to further enhance lessons by offering a variety of activities?
The e-gadget factory has developed a pack of 100 activities known as v-gadgets which reduce teacher workload, stimulate and engage the children, provide automatic feedback on children's understanding and are also really good fun.
The Science, Maths and Technology v-gadget pack enables teachers to use Promethean Activote handsets in new and innovative ways - including sequencing, control, survey, design and coordinate activities, instead of just using the handsets to select single answers to multiple choice questions. Pupils love seeing how their votes to help to control the interactions - directly affecting the outcome of the animation.
The pack includes extensive guidance and help for the teacher within each v-gadget, and is available with either English or Scottish Curriculum mapping.
